My girlfriend Vy and I are the proud parents of a brand new, beautiful, tiny… Sony a7 ll camera. I know that some may be confused, but for anyone that has a love for photography should understand the overwhelming joy of a new camera. It is a new paint brush and the world is our blank canvas. But don’t worry, I’m not going to get too deep on you.
I am very lucky to have a girlfriend that is not only beautiful, but also as silly as me. I pitched her the idea of doing a newborn style shoot with the camera and she said that she was in! So I set up the house just like I would for a normal newborn session, I set the camera on a tripod, and engaged the timer. The trickiest part was pushing the shutter release, getting into the shot and trying to get that candid look all within 10 seconds.
This was by far my most challenging selfie to date! I hope that everyone got a laugh out of our photos. “A day without laughter is a day wasted” – Charlie Chaplin.
